How do I book the headpiece I have chosen?

If you have been notified that your chosen headpiece is available for your date, and you want to go ahead and book it, we would advise you to let us know immediately. Our hat hire service is very busy and therefore a headpiece can only be held for a particular date when the booking is completed and payment made. To avoid the disappointment of your headpiece being booked by somebody else and no longer being available, we suggest completing the booking process as soon as possible.

How can I pay?

You can pay by card or the Revolut App – let us know which you prefer and we will send you the appropriate payment link to book it in. 
Please note that all Hat Hire is subject to the payment of a Refundable Security Deposit of €50 which is refunded on the safe return of the headpiece. When paid by debit/credit card, the Banks can take up to 2 weeks to process the refund and there is a bank service charge of €2 which will be deducted from the refunded amount. Alternatively, payment can be made through the Revolut App (there is no service charge and the security deposit refund is immediate). 

How much is the courier service?

The courier service (including the return) is €25 – this is exactly what DHL charges us for the delivery and return.

When can I expect to receive my booked headpiece?

We will arrange for DHL to collect your hired headpiece from the Studio a few days before the event date and you will receive the tracking information from the Studio. Delivery is usually the next day or within 2 days. However, we cannot guarantee the delivery time because delivery is outside of our control once the hatbox is collected by DHL but we always try and send out headpieces that are booked for Thursday, Friday & Saturday on Mondays/Tuesdays every week so that there is a day or two extra. We have rarely experienced delays as DHL are the best in the business.

How do I return the headpiece?

When you receive the hat box, you will also receive the new shipping label for the return of the headpiece to the Studio. You will receive a text/email from us which will provide you with a link to click on, to take you to the DHL portal. Within the DHL portal, you can arrange the time the headpiece is to be collected from you. (All of these details will also be enclosed with the headpiece).

When do I have to return the headpiece that I have hired?

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, you must arrange the collection of the headpiece by DHL for the next working day after the event (ie. if the event you are attending is on a Friday, the headpiece should be collected on the following Monday). It is advisable to log on to the DHL portal in advance as sometimes you will have missed the collection time in your area if you leave it to the morning of your intended collection.

Sustainability.

Hat hire by its very nature is a sustainable way to dress for an occasion rather than buying a headpiece which may never be worn again. We have chosen to partner with DHL, the world’s leading logistics company as DHL is leading the way internationally with its sustainable and green initiatives. In our own way, in the Studio, we also try to be as sustainable as possible - we try to re-use recycled packaging materials, where possible and encourage our customers to re-use the original packaging where possible to return the headpiece. Obviously, if it has been damaged, please use other recycled packaging materials you may have around the house to ensure the hatbox is secure for it’s return journey.
